Di pertemuan kedua mengenai keistimewaan bulan Dzulhijjah, anak-anak mempelajari tentang perjalanan haji.

“Day one..Alvi…find the picture of put on the ihram and express the intention,” I asked the Starters A1 girls to find the picture among the pictures of rituals of hajj, then arranged them on the floor.

“Then, find perform welcome tawaaf,” I shouted the next picture. Anak-anak segera saja mencari gambar yang dimaksud.

Setelah menemukannya mereka langsung meletakkannya disebelah gambar pertama tadi.

“After that, perform sa’i! Do you know what’s sa’i?”

Mendengar pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan nama adiknya Safina bergegas mengacungkan jarinya dan langsung menjawab, “Ah!….from Marwah to Safa!” ^^

“Jog a little from Safa to Marwa,” I complete it.

“What’s 7 kali?” Qiara menimpali, yang saya tambahkan, “Seven times,”

“Day two! Find Mina!” I asked the girls then explained about the next rituals.

Ketika sampai pada berqurban, bersama-sama kami merimakan “Let’s do qurban! Let’s so qurban…,”

Helping people!..Hajj!” Alhamdulillaah, most of the girls still remembered.

“Today we are going to learn about hajj day by day,” I said afterwards.

I started the lesson by dividing the girls into two groups and handed each group with stack of flash cards.

“Put on the ihram and express intention…find the cards!” The two groups right away loomed for the card

“Ihram is white garment….,” I explained.

“Like towel!” Muthiah shouted.

“Yes..it is white for the men. But for women it’s okay to wear the colour which is not white. So can women wear black for hajj?”

“Yes!” They chorused.

“So what do you do on day two, start from Rizky?”

Rizky answered, “Stay in Mina..collect stones for ramy….”

Just like Movers A1 class, I begun the class with Movers B1 by revising the previous lesson.

“Fast..pray sunnah…give charity..,” were some of the girls answer about the good deeds.

” LabbaykaAllaahumma labbayk..labbaykAla syarikala kalabbayk..innalhamda wal ni’mata..lakawal mulk..laa shariikalak,” the girls repeated over and over as we started the lesson about rituals of hajj.

“Here I am o Allaah..here I am..here I am, you have no partner…,” they also memorised the meaning.

Kami menghafalkannya sepotong-sepotong, untuk mempermudah mengingat. “… Laa shariikalak….You have no partner..,”

“What’s partner?” I asked the girls.

“Teman?” Amirah menjawab.

After learning all about hajj day by day from the first day, the girls then answered few questions on the white board.

At the same time Flyers A1 begun the class by revising the previous lesson then learnt about hajj day by day.

“..You have to jog a little from Safa to Marwa,” I explained the girls about the 2nd day of rituals of hajj.

“Joke?..joke?!” Naila frowned couldn’t believe what she heard.

“Jog…jogging,” I emphasized the word.

“Aaaa jog…I thought joke..j-o-k-e,” Naila explained about the word jog that she thought of joke. ^^

Kemudian anak-anak menghafalkan doa yang dibacakan selama para jamaah haji berlari kecil antara Safa dan Marwah, “Robbigfir warham..innaka antal a’azzul aqrom,”

Then, the girls wrote the du’aa on the board.

Dan tentu saja kemudian anak-anak menghafalkan artinya, “O lord forgive me and have mercy…verily you are the Mightiest and the Nobles,”

Then, one by one Azra, Caca, Naila and Syahna read the du’aa and the meaning.

We continued the lesson until they learnt all rituals of hajj.

See you at the next class inshaa’ Allaah, girls! ^^
